Dillon and Silverthorne Area Campgrounds

Heaton Bay Campground on Dillon Reservoir

Heaton Bay Campground sits on the north shore of Dillon Reservoir with several lakeside sites. The reservoir is, of course, the greatest draw to this campground and offers boating with four boat ramps. Wildlife viewing in the Ptarmigan Peak wilderness area and other nearby attractions are available for those wanting to avoid the crowds of the reservoir.
