Heeney Hideaway is a unique opportunity for the outdoor lover who does not enjoy tent camping. 3 cabins just off the shores of Green Mountain Reservoir offer a rustic experience and a large array of activities. The small hamlet of Heeney is a throwback to recent Colorado history. The cabins served as housing for the men who worked to build the Green Mountain Damn as part of the Colorado Big Thompson Project. Heeney is a rare opportunity for visitors to witness a true snapshot in time. By reservation only. Call well in advance.

Driving Directions:
From Silverthorne, take highway 9 north about 17 miles to County Road 30 and turn left. after 7 miles take a right on Blue Ridge street. At the bottom of the hill turn right on Green Mountain Avenue. Anglers Abode is the 3rd cabin on the right. Green Mountain Getaway is the 7th cabin on the right. Heeney Hideaway is the 8th Cabnin on the right.
