White River National Forest Campgrounds
Deep Lake campground sits on the shore of Deep Creek Lake, one of many bodies of water on the White River Plateau. The plateau is a wide open area which also encompasses the Flat Tops Wilderness. Deep Lake campground may be one of the most scenic parks you will find on the Western Slope, Rivaled only by the other surrounding campgrounds in White River National Forest. Deep Lake is a relatively small campground with only 37 sites and reservations are not accepted. The scenery is well worth arriving early to ensure an open site but have a back up campground in mind, just in case.

From Glenwood Springs, follow Interstate 70 East toward Dotsero. Take Exit 133 on Country Road 301 and head North about a mile and a half.Make a left on Coffee Pot Road and follow it about 29 miles to the campground on the right.
