Glenwood Canyon Area Campgrounds

Glenwood Canyon Resort

A weekend at Glenwood Canyon Resort is perhaps the furthest thing from "Roughing It" that you will find on the Western Slope, which will surely not appeal to camping purists. However, if you are looking for an outdoor experience with a multitude of activities readily available, this is the place. Glenwood Canyon Resort sits on the banks of the Colorado River in Glenwood Canyon. Far enough away from town to insure peace and quiet yet close enough to be near the attractions that Glenwood Springs has to offer. The resort offers several types of accommodations including tent sites (some on the river for a premium), Resort style cabins, Rustic camper cabins, and RV sites with full hookups. The fees are higher than the average campground in the area but some find the facilities to be worth paying the premium.
